Cave Fit Club group training sessions bridge the gap between high end 1-on-1 personal training, and your typical fatigue chasing class. With high end personal training you get top notch programming, instruction, and individualization, but it’s far from a high energy environment – and you’ll pay $1,000-$2,000 month. With your boutique fitness class you get a high energy group environment and you do save quite few dollars, but the programming is an afterthought, individualized coaching is hard to come by, and plateauing is a common occurrence.

There is a big divide between these two. 

We’ve been able to bridge this gap by:

  • Giving hands on instruction to educate our members what optimal form and technique is.
  • Designing training sessions that prioritize execution instead of chasing fatigue. If you want to just sling some weight around and run yourself into the ground, please don’t waste your time here.
  • Providing nutrition goals that are clear, achievable, and sustainable.
  • And we tie all those things together with a few pieces of technology so that you can have high quality coaching but with the energy, price, and community of a group.

We’re nerds when it comes to programming but we realize that the vast majority of people who come to our gym aren’t too concerned with the programming. For the most part, new people to our gym are here to lose some weight, get stronger, feel better, find a community and make some friends, and do so without injuring themselves. All training sessions include both upper and lower body. Our programming is designed so that you can attend multiple days in a row without overtraining the same movement patterns. During the training session all members track their weights, reps, and sets in our Cave Fit Club coaching platform (mobile app). This helps our training staff give you individualized coaching, it helps you follow along with our coaching tips for each exercise, and most importantly at your next training session you’ll be able to reflect on your previous weights and your coach will help you choose what weight to do next. We take the guesswork out of it!

What To Expect:

Group Training Offerings: 

CAVE | Train

This is our primary training session, it’s great for building strength, muscle, and learning proper form. Members attend these 2-4x per week. Each time you attend your coach will outline the goals for that particular day. The exercises are always done with a controlled tempo.

While we want you to train hard, doing so with poor form, technique, and execution needs to be avoided. CAVE | Train begins with weight training, and finishes with team conditioning. This training session will improve your strength, teach you optimal form, decrease body fat (depending on your nutrition), and improve your conditioning. Open for everyone, beginner to advanced. 

CAVE | Strong

Don’t let the name scare you! It’s great for building strength, muscle, and increasing your conditioning level. Members attend these 1-2x per week. This training session is a version of strongman training, you know the big viking looking fellas on ESPN lifting cars? These guys are superhuman so we adjust things for us “average” folk.

During this training session we use non-traditional implements like sleds, logs, farmers carry, sledgehammers, wheelbarrows, chains, heavy stones, ropes, and thick tires. But don’t worry, our coaches will adjust the difficulty of things based on your abilities.

This session is a bit of a contrast compared to CAVE | Train. In Train the movements are very controlled, and it’s more like a personal training session. In CAVE | Strong things are still done very safely but it’s more about pinning your ears back, pushing the pedal to the metal, and getting after it! Open for everyone, beginner to advanced.
